Low Rate Guarantee

Reservations booked through The University Inn at Emory (Inn) web site include our “Low Rate Guarantee”.  When a lower rate is found on the Internet, available publicly and can be booked for the same dates, discounts, similar room type and amenities, as well as same payment requirements such as prepayments, the Inn will match the rate and can offer rewards through a free membership with ThanksAgain .  Go to www.ThanksAgain.com/universityinn (optional) to sign up for rewards, which include airline miles, cash back, gift cards and more.

To obtain a reduced rate through our “Low Rate Guarantee” program the following must apply:

• Notification is given to the Inn Guest Services Staff via email, fax or telephone for a qualifying competitor hotel within 24 hours of making a reservation..

• The web site is not owned by The University Inn at Emory.

• The competing hotel web site must have the room publicly available, viewable and immediately bookable on the Internet at the time of verification.

• Lower rate must be for same hotel, same dates, same number of guests and for the same type of accommodations.

• Low Rate Guarantee Request is received within 24 hours of placement of reservation at the Inn via either email to info@univinn.com with the subject or reference title as “Room Rate Guarantee Request”, fax 404.320.7023 or hand delivery.

• The request must include the following information:
• Guest first and last name reservation was made under
• Guest email address provided at time of internet reservation placement
• Internet r eservation confirmation number
• Arrival and departure dates
• Number of guests
• Confirmed internet rate at The University Inn at Emory
• Website where lower rate was found (exact URL address)
• Rate offered
• Date lower rate applies
• Special terms regarding payment (e.g. full prepayment requirement) and restrictions

• Competing hotel is within a five (5) mile radius of the Inn.

• (Optional) ThanksAgain rewards membership must be completed at least 48 hours before payment for room charges is made.

After receipt of complete information the Inn will confirm the internet rate and dates, and when confirmed will adjust to the lower rate for the applicable reservation.  The Inn response will be communicated within 2 business days if request is submitted via email or fax.

Conditions:

• Guarantee applies to room charges only and does not include rates that have been negotiated by the Inn with corporations, groups, memberships such as GPTV, AAA, AARP, Entertainment Card, industry rates, government rates, promotional rates or travel agency rates – only publicly available rates apply. 

• Guarantee does not apply during certain black out periods.

• If a lower rate is due to the currency exchange rate and/or rounding applied on third party web site, the guarantee does not apply.
